Admit it. Every time you watch a Marvel movie or open a comic book, you think about how cool it would be to have a ripped and muscular physique like your favorite hero. But in the next instant you cast those aspirations aside with doubts like:
“I could never look like that.”
“It’s impossible unless you’re a celebrity.”
I know, I know. Building a body like the Hollywood elite can seem about as feasible as picking up Thor’s hammer. Fortunately, I have some good news: while I can’t guarantee you’ll be able to swing Mjolnir around, you’re definitely worthy of a heroic physique! And it doesn’t require endless hours in the gym, X-men genetics, or even “Super Soldier Serum.”
Maybe you’re sipping on your first morning coffee and taking a quick scroll through your Facebook feed.
Your attention is caught by an image of shirtless guy with awesome pecs under a headline that reads “How Chris Evans Bulked Up for Captain America.”
You check out the article and decide, “I want to look like that. I’m going to try those workouts.”
You start out strong, mixing the new movements into your routine. Never mind the fact that two of the exercises hurt your shoulder and you’re already working your chest three days per week.
You tell yourself, “If I lift hard and eat enough, there’s no way I won’t grow.” You push ahead with your plan to finally build the body you want.
Your “bad” shoulder begins acting up again and you can’t seem to shake the nagging pain in your elbow.
Despite feeling worn down and beat up, you push ahead because you’re not a quitter. You have goals to achieve. Eventually, however, the pain gets bad enough that you’re forced to skip a lift or two.
Then you have to travel for work, which causes you to miss a few workouts. The ones you do manage to get in don’t feel very effective since the crappy hotel gym doesn’t have the equipment you’re used to and your shoulder is still cranky.
You play a bit fast and loose with your diet in the name of bulking and building your chest. But you end up gaining weight faster than you intended. Now you’re having trouble telling if you’ve gained any muscle or have just gotten fat.
You start avoiding food-related social events because the guilt and anxiety of feeling like you’ve failed on your diet just isn’t worth it.
You make your diet more restrictive and do extra cardio to make up for the past mistakes. But deep down you just miss craft beers with your buddies.
You don’t feel in control and begin to lose motivation. You’re no longer enjoying the process. Working out used to be an empowering escape and now it feels like a chore.
You wonder how anyone with a fitness magazine physique ever manages to socialize or enjoy their favorite foods. Is that even possible? Can you have both abs and a life?
Yes. And I can show you how.
Here’s how it worked for my client, Eric:
How do I know this?
Well, I was once where you are now. I wasn’t always as jacked as the superhero on my tanktop.
Truth be told, my origin story is pretty ordinary. I was an asthmatic, but active, kid. If I wasn’t engrossed in a book or video game, I was outside running around.
Unfortunately, team sports weren’t my thing. I tried every sport from baseball to bowling in my quest to find “my sport.” And, honestly? I pretty much sucked at all of them.
I was good enough to make the teams, but spent most of my time shamefully sitting on the bench. When it came to game skills and coordination I was a late bloomer (read: spaz) with a bad case of the butter fingers.
I was completely lacking in confidence and didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin. Despite all my hard work in practice, I felt like a failure. It was frustrating. Sound familiar?
Thankfully, my failed venture into organized sports introduced me to weightlifting. In the gym, my asthma was rarely a limiting factor. The more I lifted, the more I enjoyed it.
Once, I started lifting, I felt like I was in control of my body and my life. For the first time.
The ability to shape my physique the way I wanted was like having a superpower!
As my muscles and strength grew, so did my confidence. Things like taking my shirt off at the pool or talking to girls were suddenly less scary.
When I looked in the mirror I no longer saw the below-average body of a scrawny nerd staring back at me. I saw potential (and some muscle).
And thus began my quest of building a superhero physique.
Flash forward to today and I’ve completed that quest. Furthermore, I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Precision Nutrition (PN1) coach who now gives back by helping others unlock their inner superhero.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with everyone from your co-workers to collegiate athletes, but my favorite thing to do is to help busy guys like yourself transform into their favorite comic book characters.
Why? Mainly because I was once in your shoes. In fact, I failed countless times on my own journey to superhero jackedness.
That’s the tagline from the first Iron Man movie. And it’s always been one of my favorites because it’s true even for the actors you see portraying your favorite heroes on the silver screen.
None of them were in tip-top, fighting shape when they landed they role. I mean sure, Hollywood actors usually have pretty good genetics, but they still have to work for their physiques just like you or me.
The reason they get such awesome results so quickly is not because their physiology is somehow superior to you. It’s because they had guidance from an expert coach and a cohesive, custom program!
I want to offer your the same opportunity. A chance to ‘make’ yourself. As your coach, I’ll guarantee that…
Training with me in-person is worth every penny, but at around $100 per hour my services are not cheap. If you were train with me even just twice a week for a month, it would cost more than double the price of my best monthly online package.
I won’t lie. My training schedule is always packed. Unless you can make the drive out to San Francisco training with me in-person is an impossibility. With online training you can work out wherever and whenever works best for you.
I’ll keep you on track when things get tough because accountability = consistency = results. All you have to do is put in the work to enjoy the rewards of looking and feeling like a superhero.
Furthermore, my online training program is definitely for you if you’re interested in…
Learning how to combat your personal kryptonite when dieting
Building some seriously noticeable muscle mass
Gaining near-superhuman strength and athleticism
Turning heads when you take your shirt off
Incinerating stores of stubborn body fat once and for all
If you’re at all intrigued, don’t hesitate. Act now. Due to my busy in-person training schedule, I strictly limit the amount of online clientele I accept. Once my roster is full, new applicants can’t be accepted until a vacancy occurs. This is not some scarcity marketing ploy – I honestly limit my online client roster to 5 people at a time.
But before you jump to apply, it’s important to note that my online services aren’t for everyone. Don’t apply if you are…
